Key
PA - Plate Appearance - Batter completes a plate appearance
AB - At Bat - Plate apperance except for walks (ie PA minus BB)
H - Hits - Successful hit, batter reaches at least 1st base (walks not included)
1b - 1st Base - Batter reached 1st base on hit
2b - 2nd Base - Batter reached 2nd base on hit
3b - 3rd Base - Batter reached 3rd base on hit
HR - Home run - Batter scores run on hit
BB - Ball on Base - Batter receives a walk to 1st or 2nd (NB does not count as "At Bat" nor as "Hit")
BA - Batting Average - Number of At Bats converted into successful Hits (AB divided by H)
Kc - Strike out caught - Batter strikes out without swinging on 3rd strike
Ks - Strike out swing - Batter strikes out by swinging on 3rd strike
SR - Strike Out Ratio - Percentage of times at bat batter struck out
RBI - Runs Batted In - Batter returns a runner home with hit (NB counted even if batter is out so long as run counts)
Runs - Runs - Number of runs the batter completes
TB - Total Bases - Total number of bases achieved (NB: all bases passed are included, so for example reaching 2nd on hit counts as two bases)
SA - Slugging Average - Average number of bases batter achieves
OBP - On Base Percentage - Percentage of times batter makes it on base from a plate appearance (includes walks)
RC - Runs Created - Estimate of the amount of runs created by the player (aka "offensive productivity")
RC/PA - Runs Created per Plate Appearance
Technically Hits should not be counted if the fielding opposition "error" during play. But at the moment we do not gather opposition fielding statistics, so all Hits are included in statistics, be they results of errors or not.
